UX Research & User Flows

Before we sketch a single screen, we answer three questions. Who uses this app? What do they need to get done? What gets in their way today? The answers guide every screen that follows.

Then we map the flows. A flow is every step a user takes to finish a task, like booking an appointment. Fewer steps usually means more users finish.

Wireframes to Clickable Prototype

Wireframes are plain sketches of each screen. They let us move fast and fix structure problems cheaply. Once you approve them, we link the screens together into a clickable prototype in Figma. You can install it on your phone and tap through it like a real app.

Testing a prototype with five or six real users will catch most of the big problems. It costs far less to fix them now than after the app is built.

Visual Design & Design Systems

Visual design is where your brand comes through. We set your colors, fonts, icons and button styles, then apply them to every screen.

We also build a design system: a library of reusable parts like buttons, cards and form fields. It keeps the app consistent and makes future screens faster and cheaper to design.

Designing for Accessibility

About one in four U.S. adults has some kind of disability. Your app should work for them too. We design with readable text sizes, strong color contrast and large tap targets. We plan for iPhone's larger text setting and for VoiceOver and TalkBack, the tools that read the screen aloud, and we follow WCAG guidelines.

Accessible design isn't just the right thing to do. It makes the app easier for everyone.
